A mid-billed race of pigeons from the vicinity of the Danube, between Presburg and Budapest, named after the city of Komarno on the Danube. In his homeland this breed was mentioned, authentically backed by documents in the first half of the 19th century and was originally brought to Germany by Danube carriers. The name Kormorian was also used in the past in Poland.

General impression:

Low standing, a moving pigeon, with a short rounded figure, capable of flying. Richly feathered, a very wide shell-like crown with feathers standing straight next to the head.

Template: features of racialism.

Head: Visible from the side. well rounded, with a broad and high forehead. The crown is lush, rich in feathers, straight standing (protruding) evenly arched across the entire width of the back of the head, running at the end of a whirlwind rosettes. The rosettes protrude gently from the neck through the crown, they pull on the nape of the neck in the form of a mane.
Eyes: Relatively large, in magpies and whites it is dark (pearly in whites is not a mistake), the others are pearly eyes.
Brew: Well developed, possibly red, in blue and silver, the flesh color is acceptable.
Beak: Medium long, wide seated, directed downwards with the direction of the head arch, it does not form one line with it, light color. Black and blue in the same color, white and tiger dark can be a dark bow tie, a bright beak is better, waxwings small and delicate.
Neck: Short, rounded, completely merging into the torso.
Breast: Wide, short, slightly sloping.
Back: Short, wide, obliquely sloping.
Wings: Not too long, close-fitting with wide feathers, resting on the tail and not crossing.
Tail: Medium long and well compact.
The legs: Pretty short, widely spaced, unfledged, claws clear.
Plumage: Well developed, not too long, but broad-leaved.

Kinds of colors:

Magpie, monochromatic and white: black, Red, yellow, blue with black stripes and silver; There are also magpies in blue polka dots; they are also plain white; tiger-like and motley-like: black, Red, yellow and multi-colored.

Color and drawing:

All colors uniform, clean and intense. With a drawing of a magpie, white head and back, the basic color here is white. Neck, Crown, arms, breast, front belly, the tail along with the tail (with a wedge) they are colorful. The colored drawing of the arms reaches the wings in the form of a heart, All color boundaries should be smooth and even. The colored plumage must extend from the lower eyebrow of the eye. There is a white spot on the throat under the beak (broodka), which goes from one eye to the other. Białołote has from 5 do 9 lotek, blue, single-color and white-yellow are with black stripes. Tigers are white on the base, evenly distributed marking, also in the tail and wings colored and white feathers.

Big mistakes:

Long stretched out, tall, instead of a short one, large figure, pointed, narrow, flat forehead head, slim, long beak, set at right angles to the forehead, dangling wings, incomplete skim on feathers, oblique, narrow, not standing straight, adjacent crown, broke rosette, large deficiencies in colors and in the drawing in all types of colors. The drawing shows white plumage at the lower edge of the eyebrow, too much goatee, colorful back, white in the wedge in white men, more than 9 and less than 5 white ailerons, tight white pants, big stain on the steak.

Comments for the evaluation:

Head – beak and crown – body structure and posture - color - drawing – eye and brew – general look.
