These pigeons were observed in Poland at the beginning of the 20th century. They can be found in larger numbers in the Warsaw regions, Łódzkie and Wrocławskie where they are commonly called “Storks”. The breeders did not pay attention to these pigeons for many years, they treated these pigeons as sucklers or as a flock for flight. Only breeders from the Wrocław region in recent years 30 Over the years, they have undertaken intensive work to shape and refine this breed and to register it. This breed is now found and bred in most parts of the country.

General impression:

Long-billed pigeon, more than average size, slim, however, it fully represents the type of flying pigeon, on high and richly feathered legs, with very large ones, wide and profusely feathered paws by the feet, disposition fairly lively but not timid.

Head: Quite long, gently oval, the forehead meets the beak without any kinks, the highest point of the top of the head is above the eye, then it descends in a smooth, rounded line to the back of the neck.
Eyes: Medium size, a very dark color, pupil invisible.
Brew: Narrow, single, soft, light flesh color.
Beak: Long, well seated, not distorting the line of the head profile, light flesh color. small waxwings, well-fitting, smooth, slightly powdered.
Neck: The average length, quite slim, thin by the head, slightly widens downwards, it gently blends into the chest and shoulders, dewlap nicely cut and rounded.
Breast: Not too wide, slightly protruding, rounded, raised high.
Back: Moderately narrow, slightly rounded, obliquely sloping, form one line with the tail.
Wings: Close-fitting, black, not sticking out in front of the breast, resting on the tail, do not cross with ailerons.
Tail: Narrow, compact, simple, longer than the ailerons, carried flush with the back line.
The legs: High, simple, full length richly feathered, by the thighs with eagle feathers at the foot, large, wide spread, paws full of feathers.
Plumage: Resilient, smooth, well-fitting.
